The Gauntlet: Nocturne

Nocturne Bio

Nocturne   Band Members

Lacey Conner - Vocalist
Chris Telkes - Guitars and Programming

Subgenres:

Hailing from Dallas, Texas, the industrial/metal band Nocturne has proven to be an unstoppable force. The band's core is made up of the alluring frontwoman/songwriter Lacey Conner, and songwriter/guitarist/programmer Chris Telkes. Nocturne's heavy and aggressive, yet sexy live show has landed them on the bills of shows and/or tours with the likes of MINISTRY, BILE, GENITORTURERS, THRILL KILL KULT, KING DIAMOND, PIGFACE, CHRISTIAN DEATH, ELECTRIC HELLFIRE CLUB, GODHEAD, and many others. In addition to Nocturne's constant touring, the band also has won many "Band of the Year" awards, including Conner's title of "Female Vocalist of the Year" in 2001 and again in 2003, by a 97.1 FM The Eagle, a ClearChannel station. Nocturne has also been featured in two films: "The Attic Expeditions" which stars Seth Green (of Austin Powers fame), as well as "Wishcraft". Currently, the band is getting ready for their upcoming U.S. tour with PIGFACE, where they'll be promoting the brand new full-length Nocturne CD, "Guide To Extinction", which will be released nationally on April 19th.

    Hardcore Annal Sects

Metallica's first album was originally called Metal Up Your Ass. When record distributors refused to release an album with an "obscene" title, the title was changed to Kill 'Em All in reference to the distributors.
