Anguish was set up somewhere in April 2000. The idea to form the band came from the frontman of the legendary war metal band called Visitant, namely Fizan with the ultimate drummer of melodic dark death metal, Tasyim namely Shaman. Both of them have been carefully decide to form a brutal death metal band, while melodic death metal are uprising.
Anguish also being established to ensconce underground scene here. So both Fizan and Shaman invited three talented human who hunger an experience in music through underground metal scene. They are Pathologist, Psycho Torturer, Anal Grinder. At that time, the line-up was Fizan (full vocals), Pathologist (lead guitar), Anal Grinder (rhythm), Psycho TOrturer (bass) and Shaman (drum). They started jamming together with couples of brutal act as cover such as HYPOCRISY (old), MORBID ANGEL, BAPHOMET (rip), GOREFEST (old), etc.
Sadly a few month later, Fizan that also played with Visitant decided to further his study oversea. Now Anguish remains four persons. As time passing by, due to Anguish secret conference, they choose Anal Grinder as a lead vocals others as backing vocals.
