The Gauntlet: Fermata

Fermata Bio

Fermata   Band Members

Blake - Vox
Jay - Guitar
Steve - Guitar
Sean - Drums
Jason - Bass

Subgenres:

Formed in the winter of 2004, Fermata has made their own music scene, playing at every major club throughout Southern California and perfecting their live performance in to the monster it is today. Co-owner and founder of the Go Music Network Art Aaronson says Fermata is one of the best live acts Ive seen in years.

We have a formative take on popular music- its accessible and unique enough to have its own voice, says Jason (bass).

After signing with respected indie label DoughMain Recourds, Fermata headed into the studio with Mark Renk (Panic at the Disco, Matchbook Romance) and Fred Archambault (Avenged Sevenfold, Death by Stereo) to produce their Debut EP titled Vessel scheduled for release in April 06. After finishing the EP, Fermata enlisted the help of Shane Drake (Fallout Boy, Hawthorne Heights, Halifax) to direct their first video for their upcoming single Frustrated. The release of Vessel armed them well for their first U.S. Tour this April.

We are restless; music is our passion and the driving force in all of our lives says guitarist Jay Fredrick. With a strong work ethic and love for their art, Fermata is already hard at work writing and perfecting future songs for a full-length record.
